We meet our valued guests at Artvin-Rize Airport and begin our tour of Georgia. Following the Black Sea coastal road, we cross into the Sarp Border Gate, which forms the Turkey-Georgia border. We cross into Georgia-Batumi with only our (chip-enabled) ID cards. Traveling along the coast, enjoying beautiful sea views and observing the nature of Batumi, we reach Kutaisi, the first stop on our tour to discover the rich Georgian culture. After a panoramic tour of the city center, we take a lunch break to rest a little. Our next stop is Stalin’s Village, Gori. Here we visit Stalin’s house and museum. After our tours, we settle into our hotel in Tbilisi, where we will stay for two nights.

We begin our day in Old Tbilisi. We see the puppet theater and clock tower, stroll through the streets of Tbilisi, cross the Peace Bridge, and view the Kura River. Afterwards, we visit the Tbilisi Versinaj (Antique) Market and take the cable car up to Nari Castle to see the Kartlis Deda (Mother of Georgia) statue, which has become a symbol of the city, and view all of Tbilisi from above. After visiting the sulfur baths, Bar Street, and Freedom Square with our guide, we will have free time. Afterwards, we will go to the Chronicle of Georgia stelae. Following our visit to this work of art, which depicts Georgian and Christian history through symbols and reliefs, we will visit Sameba Cathedral, one of the largest religious buildings in the world. After our tours, those who wish can join us for dinner and a Georgian night at our restaurant to extend the evening.

Today we are heading to Kakheti province, known as the wine country, located 120 km east of Tbilisi, in the easternmost part of Georgia. We arrive in Signhnagi, the country’s least populated region, famous for its wines and vineyards, and take a walk among restored houses, charming streets, and delicious wines. Afterwards, we visit a wine-making facility in this region, where the world’s oldest wine is produced, and during our wine tasting event, we learn about the techniques used to make Georgian wine, as well as how it is stored and aged. We end our day in this charming town and head back to our hotel in the evening.

After greeting a beautiful day, our journey continues to Kakheti. We visit another winery in this province, where Georgia’s diverse grapes are grown, and sample different flavors before moving on to the ancient capital of Mtskheta. In Mtskheta, we see the historic Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, stroll through the side streets, and shop for souvenirs. Then we head to the Jvari Monastery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the monastery, located on a hill overlooking the city of Mtskheta, we watch the Aragvi and Kura rivers meet. After a few short breaks along the way, we arrive in Batumi and head to our hotel with our guests who want to shake off the fatigue of the day. Those who wish can extend their evening in Batumi’s colorful streets.

We greet the day in Batumi and first visit the Port of Batumi and the Seafront, the Alphabet Tower, and the Ali Nino Statue, then move on to the city center. In the center, we see magnificent structures such as the Theater Building, the Poseidon Statue, the Piazza Tower, the Government Building, Public Buildings, and the Medea Statue (Golden Fleece) in Europe Square. After lunch and some free time, we meet up with our vehicle and head back. We pass by the Inverted Building, the Justice Building, and the Androgyne Statue, all of which attract attention with their unique architecture, cross the Choruh River, and pass through the Sarp border gate again. We bid farewell to our valued guests at the Rize Artvin Airport, hoping to see them again on another norhtA tour.
